Why I Support PrideāEven If It Costs Me
āIf supporting love, peace, and people costs me a few sales, so be it. My blessings donāt come from manāthey come from God.ā
This post might not follow my usual topics. It might not get the most clicks. It might even lose me some customers.
But Iām writing it anyway.
Because whatās been on my heart is too loud to ignore. And if I stay quiet just to be accepted, Iām not walking in my truthāIām just blending in with fear. And that aināt me.
Letās Talk About It. For Real.
Iāve been seeing too much lately. Too many posts that turn āfaithā into a weapon. Too many people using Godās name to shame, exclude, or tear down folks in the LGBTQ+ community.
Let me say this clearly and directly:
I believe in God. I follow Jesus. And I love peopleāALL people.
I donāt care what anyone says. Iām not going to use my faith to reject someone whoās simply living as their true self.
The LGBTQ+ Community Deserves Love Too
Now let me be real:
I donāt have a bunch of LGBTQ+ friends.
But I do have familyābeautiful, bold familyāwho live far away. We donāt talk often, but I love them deeply.
If I had a friend in the LGBTQ+ community, I would have their back tenfold. Because the ones Iāve known or come across?
Theyāre loyal.
Theyāre kind.
They show up.
And letās be honestātheyāre some of the realest people Iāve ever seen.
But Isnāt That a Sin?
Thatās the question I hear a lot.
And to that I say:
People love to play spiritual dodgeball with the Bibleāpicking and throwing scriptures that fit their comfort while ignoring the ones that call them out.
You wanna talk about sin? Then letās talk about the gossip, the pride, the judgment, the cheating, the envy... or do those not count when itās convenient?
Jesus never said āShame them.ā He said āLove them.ā
He didnāt tell people to point fingersāHe told them to look at their own hearts first.
Iām Not Backing Down
I donāt support the LGBTQ+ community in secret. Iām not whispering it behind closed doors.
Iām saying it boldly, right here, right now:
š You are loved.
š You are welcome here.
š You have a seat at my table.
And if that bothers somebody?
Then maybe this space wasnāt for them in the first place. Because my brandāQueen Diva Glitz N Glamzāis rooted in faith, truth, and love.
Not fear. Not judgment. And certainly not hate.
To My LGBTQ+ Family and Supporters:
You donāt have to change who you are to feel safe here.
You donāt have to explain yourself.
You donāt have to shrink to fit anyoneās comfort zone.
You are seen, worthy, and never alone.
Standing in LoveāAlways
I might lose a few likes.
I might lose a few customers.
But I wonāt lose myself trying to please people who never knew my heart to begin with.
God didnāt put me on this earth to sell products and stay quiet.
He gave me a voice.
And Iām using it to say:
āØLove is not a sin. But hate just might be.āØ
ā
With love, light, and glitter always,
Queen Diva š
