No Bites, But I’m Still Blooming: Trusting the Timing, Not the Timeline
Whew… Where do I even begin?
Since launching my website and officially stepping into this business life, it’s been a beautiful chaos—equal parts glitter and grind. The pop-up shops have been a blessing. I’ve met queens and kings face-to-face, got real hugs, real compliments, and even better—some loyal customers who keep coming back like clockwork. God, I see what You’re doing.
But let’s be honest… it hasn’t all been confetti and cash.
There have been moments—quiet, humbling moments—where I was posting content and hearing crickets. No likes. No shares. No bites. I had to remind myself: this ain’t a sprint, it’s a seed planting. And baby, seeds don’t scream when they grow—they push through dirt in silence.
🌿 Front Yard Faith & Healing
This week, I found myself outside in my front yard—not for the aesthetics, but for the sanity. Just pulling weeds, pruning bushes, talking to God like He was right there trimming the edges with me. I wasn’t out there to impress nobody. I was out there healing. I told the Lord,
“I don’t understand the pace of this process… but I trust You know the path.”
Because see, if I rush it, I ruin it. But if I wait on God’s timing? Whew, I’ll be running to keep up with what He’s about to release.
💬 To the Ones Watching in Silence
Let me say this to whoever needs to hear it:
If folks misunderstand you, twist your words, or act funny because you're moving different now—that’s their burden to carry, not yours.
Sometimes the people not supporting you were never assigned to your vision in the first place. And that's okay. Not everybody is meant to clap at your bloom.
I used to take it personally… now I take it to prayer.
🌸 Slow Growth is Still Growth
I’m learning to give myself grace in the slow seasons, to recognize that loyal customers > fake love, and that quality connections beat shallow engagement every time.
And when the doors open, baby, they gon’ fly off the hinges.
If you’re in a season where you feel unseen—remember, even flowers bloom with no audience. And when it’s your season, you won’t be able to stop the overflow.
Stay faithful. Stay rooted. Keep your eyes on God, and your hands in your work.
Because soon enough, your name will be whispered in rooms you haven’t even entered yet.
And when that harvest hits? Oh honey…
You won’t just be walking—you’ll be running.
